Previously, two out of four Cath Labs at AIIMS were in poor condition, causing significant delays and treatment hurdles for patients. Understanding the urgency, the AIIMS administration instructed an immediate upgrade, leading to the rapid establishment of this new lab.

The new Cath Lab features state-of-the-art imaging and treatment tools designed to function seamlessly for 13 to 16 years. It allows precise diagnosis and intervention, enhancing the efficiency of cardiac procedures and ensuring better patient outcomes.
